We're looking for Child Protective Investigators who will step in at critical moments and Case Managers to help ensure lasting change.


How to Show Up

This work involves working with children and families to ensure their safety and well-being. Child Protective Investigators are brought in at the onset of an investigation, whereas Case Managers provide ongoing support after the fact.

The first responders in child welfare, CPIs conduct investigations of alleged child abuse, neglect, abandonment, and/or other special conditions and identify the level of intervention needed. The role requires empathy, a thick skin, and a desire to help children and families.

Case Manager

Case Manager

A source of ongoing support for children and families, CMs complete regular child safety and well-being assessments of those referred to the Department for alleged child abuse, neglect, abandonment, and/or other special conditions. These long-term relationships require a commitment to child advocacy and flexibility in high-pressure settings.
