When families in Florida need help, your presence can make all the difference. We're looking for Child Protective Investigators who will step in at critical moments and Case Managers to help ensure lasting change.
This project is part of Continue the Mission, which recruits people with prior experience in public safety and public service, including former law enforcement officers, first responders, military service members, teachers, health care practitioners, emergency management professionals and others who have held positions of public trust and want to continue serving their communities.
This work involves working with families and children to ensure their safety and well-being. Child Protective Investigators are brought in at the onset of an investigation, whereas Case Managers provide ongoing support after the investigation.
The front line in child safety, Child Protective Investigators conduct investigations of alleged child abuse, neglect, and abandonment and make connections with services and resources to support families and keep children safe. This quick-acting role requires skill in engaging people, a commitment to child and family advocacy, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure environments.
A source of ongoing support for children and families, Case Managers build relationships, provide ongoing support, and make connections to help families work toward a safer, stronger future.
